For maximum safety,
Superior's Brand products should be cooked before they are consumed. Hams are the
exception, but can be warmed.
All meat
should be cooked to an internal temperature of 155° for a minimum of 15
seconds, as measured by a meat thermometer. Cooking methods vary, based on
personal tastes and equipment, but the temperatures required for safety
remain constant. Because microwaves cook unevenly, you should turn the meat
as you cook it. If your microwave has a turntable, this is not necessary
unless you need to turn the meat over.
